Had no idea about his blogfest but I just got my cover and it's up on my blog today if you want to go see it. As a matter of fact, it's for the book you critiqued for me.

Nice work, Francine!

Very subtle and intriguing. The best part is that her face is hidden.

Beautiful job Francine. And of course, as THE HIGHWAYMAN is my favorite ever poem, I already want to read your book!

Unlike one of your other commenters, I'm not wildly keen on headless characters! But the dress is beautiful!

Hi Paula,

The headless character is apt to the plot, for it's loosely connected to the French Revolution! ;)

Francine, that's hilarious. We historical fiction authors always joke about headless heroines on the covers of books. Where are all the heads going? The dress is magnificent. Thanks for participating!

This is way cool, Francine. :) Looks very mysterious, and I love the image. The font also seems pretty appropriate for the title. Great job! Also I love the new layout, it definitely fits well with your blog theme!
