All Fun & Games Blogfest & Three Times a Bridesmaid!

First blogfest in a long while and hosted by Alex J. C.

This is merely a quick fun blogfest in which participants list three games they love playing: here's mine!

There's nothing more hilarious than a game of charades! It's pure entertainment value if enough are playing it, especially when everyone's feeling a little merry at a party, brain-fuddled and incapable of stopping onset of giggles and gut-busting laughter.

Monopoly.

Don't you just love being in property speculation?
This is the next best thing to being a Billionaire: if you win!

"Cricket"

Now this is the action game some of us Brits settle to after a juicy fattening B-B-Q. And believe this, I've impressed guys for years with my over-hand bowling. There's one word to be said for English girls who played rounders (baseball) and hockey as kids and they're batting: DUCK! Upper balls or lower ones coming at you, you've got them in your sights for a bl **dy good whack with the bat: runs/scores galore. My old school motto: take no prisoners!
Cricket rules are simple: You're in when your out, and out when you're in!  ;)

I'm over at Heroines' with Hearts today: topic as image!

I don't understand cricket. But I do so love to see British men in their whites. *Sigh*

You and I are together with Monopoly. Charades is always fun. Add a few bottles of wine and there is never a dull moment!

Monopoly continues to be a popular one! I love Monopoly too. I must confess to not completely understanding cricket--but am willing to learn. :-)

Ah. Cricket. I had a crush on a bloke who played cricket once. Didn't understand him or the game. LOL.

Monopoly is a classic. Great choice!

I've never played cricket. It's a total mystery to me.

Charades, though? Pure awesome.

Yeah, I'm no longer allowed to play charades after I wound up breaking that lamp.

Great list!

One of these days I am going to have to learn how to play Cricket.

Thanks for your list!

Hi Guys and Gals,

Fun blogfest this and kind of nice knowing what others like doing in their spare time! ;)

As for cricket, I've never understood the rules: too complicated. I just know that when you've hit the ball, your wickets are still standing, and a fielder hasn't caught the ball, make as many RUNs as possible! ;)

All great games. I'd like to try playing cricket some time.

I could probably watch a cricket match and not have a clue as to who was winning. But it sure looks fun!

And Charades is a CLASSIC.

Good choices!

Honestly I have no clue what the rules are for cricket. I guess I need to do some research! Charades and Monopoly are popular games in this blogfest! :)

I was enjoying this until you mentioned the cricket. Ugh! Where's our ashes???

How British is charades?

Yes, our PM has Welsh parents who emigrated to Oz. All that red hair and pale skin...er, is that thin skin?

I think I'm going to be the odd one out here ;) for I understand Cricket better than any other games ;) LOL!

Well..Most of my friends are hard core Cricket fanatics.. Give them a TV and a re-run of an older match, and you might need a crowbar to pry them away from their seats..

I always enjoyed watching it live than on TV ;) and my DH loves playing that than watching..hence I don't own crowbars in my house..LOL!

Missing that in Canada for sure..and especially when India won the world cup this time!
