Fairy Folk - Fact or Fiction?

Fact or fiction, either way, almost every little girl has at one time or another dreamed of seeing a fairy.

So, how did a Victorian photographer achieve this photographic image?

It stunned people at the time it was taken. Cute, ain't it?

I really posted today to say, although I've quit the A-Z challenge, I'm still visiting blogs as and when.
It really had to be a case of priorities: my WIP beckoned, revisions beckoned, the garden beckoned, and all fell neglected due to the challenge. Yesterday I spent the morning in the garden, bunked off with dog across my own land in the afternoon, and penned 1500 words in the evening.

Pure Inspiration!

Best to all who are blogging on with A-Z ;)

I think it's one of those things we do the best we can, but it's more like a game than a job so no pressure. Love the fairy photo!

Love that photo :)

It was printed in a book I used to look at as a kid. It's been stuffed away in my grandparents' attic for quite a while now. Thanks for reminding me about it--I'm off to find it!

Lovely photos...

I remember your property... It is beyond spectacular where you live. If the weather and inspiration calls.

It is a lot of work. My post are time consuming, so who knows if I'll make it to the end. I will only post well written work.

I hope you'll post every now and then.

Hi Francine. I wasn't expecting you to come up with an F word but here you are! Love the pics. You live is a most spactacular part of the world. One of my most addictive TV programs is Kevin McClous's Grand Designs and at the moment they are repeating them from the first series which I missed, so I can watch entranced the beautiful countryside of the UK. Pity the constant rain, snow and wind always interferes with the build, hee hee.

I think you might like my post on L'Aussie Writing today, swoon swoon.

That girl's daughter went onto Antiques Roadshow once - with the original pictures.

The mother always said that all the fairies except for one were cut-outs.

:-)

It's that one that always makes me wonder.

Sounds like a great day! I couldn't do the A-Z challenge either, otherwise I'd never get any editing done on my novel...

Awesome photos! :) I decided not to the A-Z challenge either because it's way too time-consuming and as a college student I think I would've exploded if I'd added such a blog challenge to my list of to-do's!

I have finally put up a LinkyList for my "Inanimation" blogfest by the way. :) Feel free to add your blog when you have the time!!

I'm sorry to hear you had to step back from the A-Z Challenge, but at least you gave it a go. We all have priorities in life and at least you sound determined to see yours through to the end.
